Chad Peterson joined VPC in 2011 and is a Vice President. He is primarily responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing and management of direct private debt and equity investments in lower middle market companies in the Restaurant, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure sectors. Mr. Peterson also actively works on value creation initiatives and strategic
alternatives for VPC’s investments.
Mr. Peterson serves as a member the Board of Directors of VPC portfolio company VPC Pizza Operating Corp. (Giordano’s).
Previously, Mr. Peterson worked at Qorval LLC, a turnaround advisory and interim-management firm focusing on financial and operational improvements for middle-market companies. He also worked in the Special Situations Group at American Capital and held various financial advisory positions at Bridge Associates and Deloitte Consulting.
Mr. Peterson received a B.S. in finance and decision sciences from Miami University of Ohio and an M.B.A. with Honors from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is an active committee member of the Champions for Children’s charity event, benefitting the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Mr. Peterson speaks on issues related to distressed investing and has been a guest lecturer and panelist at the University of Chicago’s Booth Global School of Business and at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
