Cem Aydoğdu is a versatile serial entrepreneur developing projects across media, gastronomy, and social innovation. He founded 140journos, one of Turkey's leading new media organizations, serving as its Co-Founder and Creative Director. Under his leadership, 140journos pioneered citizen journalism in Turkey and developed innovative narrative
forms. Aydoğdu also founded a World Press Photo award-winning photojournalism agency.
In addition to his media ventures, Aydoğdu co-founded the Institute of Creative Minds (Yaratıcı Fikirler Enstitüsü), an interdisciplinary collective known for its work on public space and public diplomacy. He is also the founder of Gastronomika, a culinary brand. Gastronomika operated as an R&D and experiential kitchen at SALT Beyoğlu, researching "Modern Anatolian Cuisine" and becoming a pioneer of this movement in Turkey.
Aydoğdu's work is informed by his background in classical music. After the ITU State Conservatory, he studied orchestra conducting, composition, and sound technologies at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome. This versatile foundation influences his creative strategies across his ventures. His work has also been exhibited at the Istanbul Design Biennial.
