Cary D. Baetz serves as treasurer and chief financial officer of Seventy Seven Energy. He previously served as chief financial officer of Chesapeake Oilfield Services from 2012 until Seventy Seven Energy was formed in July 2014. Prior to that time, he was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Atrium Corporation starting in
November 2010, and was chief financial officer at Halliburton-owned Boots & Coots from 2008 through 2010. From 2005 to 2008, Baetz was vice president of finance, treasurer and assistant secretary of Chaparral Steel Company, one of the largest suppliers of structural steel products in North America. He also served as director of corporate finance at Texas Industries Inc., Chaparral’s parent company, from 2002 to 2005. Baetz has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.
