I am a purpose driven Senior Finance Professional and Leader with a proven track record in leading and transforming global financial services teams and businesses, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory and market dynamics that shape the industry.
Currently, I am Chief Financial Officer for Yokahu, an InsurTech company and Lloyd's
of London coverholder, aiming to create insurance products that protect people and businesses from climate risks.
I am also an Advisor to various Financial Services providers, from mature businesses to Start-Ups/Scale-Ups, with a focus on Global Markets generally and Treasury / Securities Financing / Financial Resource Management specifically.
In my most recent Banking role, I was Head of Cross Asset Financing & Investments at UniCredit, covering the equity and credit financing, securitisation, treasury and investment activities of the Global Markets division. I was responsible for defining and executing the business strategy, driving revenue growth, enhancing risk management, and fostering a culture of excellence and diversity. As a Member of the Executive Committee, I was part of the Global Markets leadership team, driving strategy and innovation.
Over the course of my career I have worked in and run a variety of businesses in Treasury, Equities and FICC, such as Securities Finance, Equity Finance & Linear Equity Derivatives, Bond Trading, Money Markets & STIR, Commodities and FX.
I have specialised in and accumulated a demonstrated track record in building teams and businesses from scratch or from underperformance situations, launch new products and platforms, and create sustainable value for finance firms and their clients. I do that by rigorously and deeply analysing the status quo, followed by defining and executing a suitable strategy.
