Dr. Carsten Westergaard serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Hover Energy. He brings more than 25 years of experience in wind energy to Hover. He began his career as an aerodynamics blade designer with LM Wind Power, the largest wind turbine blade manufacturer in the world. Later, he served as the Director of Global Technology for Vestas Wind
Systems (“Vestas”) in Denmark and the U.S. Vestas is currently the largest wind turbine manufacturer in the world.
Dr. Westergaard received both an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialty in Physics and a Ph.D. in Physics with a focus on laser technology and fluid dynamics from the Technical University of Denmark.
