A graduate in Law and Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE - E3) and INSEAD MBA, Juan Carvajal has been dealing with the private equity business since 1991, and has been a member of the managing board of the Spanish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and the Mid tvlarket Buyout Platform Council of
EVCA. Prior to founding Espiga in 1998, he was a partner in Spain of the British fund Schroder Ventures and, previously, worked in BBVA in London. He has been a member of the Board in several companies, being currently Espiga's representative in the Board of Directors of Pool, Ydilo and Enjoy Wellness.
