Candy Young, APR, marketing and communications strategic planner, has managed programs for a wide range of businesses, including many technology and telecom companies. Candy was founder and principal of Young Communications, a marketing and public relations firm. She has developed communications programs for companies such as Attachmate, Boeing
Computer Services, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, and across many industries including manufacturing and industrial design. Previously at AT&T she managed media relations and national public relations programs and was department chief for marketing communications. Candy was also a television news producer and writer at KIRO-TV in Seattle. She has received numerous communications and writing awards from the International Association of Business Communicators, Women in Communications, Washington Press Women and the National Federation of Press Women.
