Calvin Ritter began his insurance career in 1972 as a Personal Producing Agent. As his business grew, he formed a General Agency called CJ Ritter and Associates. Cal semiretired from the insurance business after he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in 1990, and he eventually had a successful heart transplant.
A few years later, he came out of
"retirement" to join the principals of URL Financial in forming a senior marketing insurance brokerage called URL Senior Care Division. In 1997, Cal was joined by his son, Craig Ritter. From 1997 to 2005, the agency grew from one part-time employee to five full-time employees. In 2005, Cal bought the interest of URL Financial and renamed the company Ritter Insurance Marketing. Ritter now has nearly 80 employees and a network of over 10,000 agents.
Since Cal began his insurance career over 40 years ago, he has been working with Medicare-aged clients to help secure their financial futures. As a Medicare beneficiary himself, he understands the Medicare system and is ready to help you find a plan that meets your needs. He lives in Harrisburg along with his wife, Carol, their four children, and seven grandchildren.
