Bryan J. Roy is vice president of Marathon's Drilling and Completions organization. He was appointed to this position July 1, 2011.
Prior to his current position, he was manager of the Worldwide Drilling and Completions organization. Since joining Marathon in 1980 as a drilling engineer, he has worked in technical and managerial positions
of increasing responsibility across North America and Scotland.
A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mr. Roy holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette). He is a long time member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Drilling Engineers. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana.
