Bruno is a passionate entrepreneur and physicist with 25 years of experience in the optoelectronics and laser industry. As general manager and engineering leader he marketed new products and led engineering efforts from chip, package to system design at Osram, Lumentum and Coherent. Throughout this time, he participated in numerous startups as
founder, key team member, advisor and investor (Raytools, MicroPelt, Amicra, LightLogic, Oxxius, Lumics, Progyny,..). His principal interest is in novel optics and semiconductors for applications in automotive, healthcare and sustainable energy, and he is an avid cyclist. Bruno holds a diploma from ETH in Zurich, and a PhD in applied optics.
