Bruce Shook is the President and CEO of Intact Vascular.
Previously, Mr. Shook was President and CEO of Neuron Therapeutics, a venture-backed company developing drug/device combination products for the treatment of traumatic CNS disorders. Bruce co-founded Neuron Therapeutics with scientific staff from Thomas Jefferson University.
Prior to
Neuron Therapeutics, he was President of Abiomed, a publicly traded manufacturer of advanced cardiac assist technology, where he brought the first external ventricular assist device to the U.S. market and was responsible for sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, regulatory affairs and quality assurance. He has also held positions in engineering, sales support and regulatory affairs with Cordis Corporation.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry including venture finance of early stage companies and holds advanced degrees in biomedical engineering and business administration from Columbia University and the MIT Sloan School of Management, respectively.
He is a Director for Neuronetics, Cardiac Concepts (a venture-backed medtech company), and the Penn State Research Foundation.
