Mr. Cameron joined Mr. McEver in establishing Berkshire Capital in 1983 as the first independent investment bank covering the investment management and securities industries. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Bruce is responsible for the overall development and direction of the firm. Bruce leads the firm’s new business efforts and is
actively involved in advising the firm’s major clients. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events.
From 2005 to 2010 Bruce was a co‐founder and the chairman of the board of directors of Highbury Financial Inc., a publicly traded investment management holding company. Prior to the formation of Berkshire Capital, Bruce was Associate Director of Paine Webber Group Inc.’s Strategic Planning Group. He began his career at Prudential Insurance Company, working first in the Comptroller’s Department and then in the Planning & Coordination Group.
Bruce was graduated from Trinity College, where he received a BA in Economics, and from Harvard Business School, where he received an MBA. He also attended the London School of Economics. Bruce is a CFA charterholder and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. He is also a past board member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
