Brien Wassner is the partner and co-leader of the global private equity practice at Sidley Austin. Brien M. Wassner is a partner in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. Mr. Wassner represents private equity funds, domestic and multinational privately held and publicly traded
entities, hedge funds, venture capital funds, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and emerging growth companies, as purchasers, sellers, and investors, in a wide range of corporate transactions and business combinations, including mergers, tender offers, auctions, private equity investments, stock and asset acquisitions, going private transactions, joint ventures, debt and equity financing, and general corporate and securities matters.
