Brian Simons founded Altavera Mortgage Services with a single vision to provide collaborative, end-to-end loan fulfillment services to residential loan originators. With an eighteen year career in the mortgage industry, Mr. Simons brings deep experience in capital markets, loss mitigation and origination.
Prior to founding Altavera, Mr. Simons
was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Urban Lending Solutions (“Urban”), one of the nation’s largest providers of loss mitigation services. While at Urban, Mr. Simons helped grow the firm from a kitchen table concept to an employee base of 2,500, with Urban ranking in the Inc. 500 list from 2009 to 2012 as one of the fastest growing companies in the country. During Mr. Simons’ tenure at Urban, he oversaw an operation that processed nearly four million loan modifications and other mortgage-related transactions. In addition, Mr. Simons established the mortgage services business unit, which served some the country’s leading banks and credit unions.
Mr. Simons holds both an M.B.A. and B.A from Baylor University and is a CFA® charterholder.
