Brian Kirschbaum joined American Capital in 2013 and is a Vice President in the Buyouts Group in the Bethesda office.
Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Kirschbaum was a Vice President at Relativity Capital, a middle market private equity firm, where he evaluated and executed investments in the aerospace and defense, industrial, and services
sectors. Previously, Mr. Kirschbaum was an Associate at The Carlyle Group, where he focused on investments in the aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Kirschbaum was an Analyst in J.P. Morgan’s Financial Sponsor Group, where he executed a variety of private equity-related mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
Mr. Kirschbaum received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University.
