Brian K. Gart joined Gordian Group as Managing Director and General Counsel in late spring of 2015.
Brian has over 30 years of experience in complex business reorganization, insolvency, bankruptcy litigation and corporate restructuring matters, both in an out of court, with “first chair” responsibilities representing both publicly and privately
held business debtors, assignors and assignees in assignments for the benefit of creditors under Florida law, all manner and types of secured creditors in complex commercial finance transactions, official creditors’ committees, chapter 7 and chapter 11 trustees, DIP lenders, plan funders, landlords, liquidating trustees, banks, and other financial institutions, indenture trustees and equity security holders. In addition, Brian has represented numerous lenders and borrowers in complex commercial finance transactions, including asset-based loans, mezzanine credit facilities, capital market transactions and subordinated debt facilities.
Prior to joining Gordian Group, Brian K. Gart, was a partner of Berger Singerman LLP’s Business Reorganization practice team since 2008, having joined after 23 years at Greenberg Traurig where he helped found that firm’s nationally recognized business reorganization and distressed M&A practice, and during which the last 8 years he was a principal shareholder.
