As General Counsel, Brian is responsible for all legal matters at Techstars. Brian began his legal career at Cooley and then moved in-house to serve as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for numerous software companies in Silicon Valley including PGP Corporation (acquired by
Symantec), Reputation.com, OneID, and Scale Eight. Brian has
recently returned from a two-year working sabbatical in Spain where, in addition to perfecting authentic paella, he provided outsourced General Counsel services to U.S. and Spanish startups and served as a mentor for Espacio RES, the first incubator in Andalusia, Spain.
