Brian Davis founded TPG Sourcing Advisors, LLC ('TPG Sourcing") in 2012 and serves as President and Managing Director. TPG Sourcing focuses on identifying investment opportunities for TPG Growth, a $2 billion middle-market private equity firm based in San Francisco that is an affiliate of TPG Capital, one of the largest private equity
firms in the world with over $50 billion of capital under management. Prior to founding TPG Sourcing, Mr. Davis was a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for New York based Sentinel Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm. At Sentinel, he was responsible for leading their sourcing and origination of new investments. Prior to Sentinel, Mr. Davis was a Partner and Managing Director at McColl Partners, a leading middle-market investment bank. At McColl, he ran both the Business Development and Financial Sponsors Groups.
Previously, Mr. Davis worked at DeWolff, Boberg Associates, a management consulting firm that provides operational improvement services to private equity and commercial clients globally. As a managing director and member of DeWolff's board of directors, Mr. Davis ran its Business Development and Private Equity Groups. He began his career at Dun & Bradstreet, where he served as a director of its Financial Services Practice.
Mr. Davis received a BA degree from Furman University and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Law School and at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.
