He has a diverse industrial and retail knowledge with experience in general management technical, product and process development. With considerable knowledge of environmental issues and
business turnaround. As the environmental director at one of the major bakery groups he recognised the potential and business opportunity if a trading platform was available for the wider food industry. Brian has represented the baking industry on organic standards at the Soil Association and previously a representative at the Federation of Bakers and sat on the CCFRA bread and cereal technical advisory panel. He was also one of the lead contributors to a DEFRA Link funded 5 year research project. Experienced at working at MD and board level in major food companies. He has a passion for food and reducing waste. Main interest are golf and travel, mentoring senior management and business acquisitions. Although semi retired he has no plans to sit around and also way searching for business opportunities.
