Dr. Brian Chang has been COBAN’s Chief Scientist since its inception, and also served as the President from 2002-2007. Dr. Chang has numerous published papers regarding image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and real-time mission critical operation. From 1989 to 1995, he was a Robotic Welding and Automation Group project manager
for Lincoln Electric Company in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Chang was elected as a life member of the National Engineering Honor Society (Tau Beta Pi).
Dr. Chang graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering.
