Brad Charron is the CEO and “Re-Founder” of ALOHA, an employee-owned and operated plant-based protein pioneer. Since re-creating the Company in 2017, Brad has turned ALOHA from stagnation to rapid growth, now the fastest growing protein bar in the United States with sales consistently doubling year over year. Under Brad’s leadership, ALOHA also
became an employee-owned B Corp, Certified Climate Neutral, and is committed to balancing purpose and profit for the collective good.
A classically trained CPG operator with a “challenger brand” mindset, Brad has spent most of his career running marketing and commercial growth efforts within the broader health and wellness category with a focus on innovative “what’s next” brands. He spent the years prior to ALOHA shepherding the turnaround of four sports nutrition brands of private-equity owned Nature’s Bounty Co, led Marketing & Product at Chobani, America’s top-selling yogurt brand, and held two distinct leadership roles at Under Armour, a then sub $1B underdog to goliath competitors, in both Global Brand Marketing and spearheading UA’s launch into China. He started his post-MBA career at Frito Lay Inc, a division of PepsiCo, held positions with Lucky Brand Jeans and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young pre-MBA, and acted as a consultant to the KIND Snacks leadership and executive team in their recent M&A transaction with Mars Inc.
Brad graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. A father of three daughters, he and his wife, Anika, live in Darien CT and, as a lifelong ice hockey goalie, Brad is very active in the local hockey community.
