Brad Card has been politically active his entire life, having assisted family members with local elections in Massachusetts and assisting President George H.W. Bush’s efforts in 1979. His activism continued through the elections of President George W. Bush and numerous members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the United States Senate.
Upon coming to Washington, DC, Brad served under the direction of United States Secretary of Defense, William S. Cohen at the Department of Defense’s Special Operations/ Low Intensity Conflict for Drug Enforcement Policy and Strategy and in the Executive Office of the President of the United States in the Office of National Drug Control Policy under the direction of Director, General Barry McCaffrey.
After leaving ONDCP, Brad became a Government Relations Manager for 3M Company’s Traffic Control Materials Division where he managed 3M’s government relations in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Brad then served as Chief of Staff to Congressman John E. Sweeney (R-NY), where he oversaw all political and policy issues. Furthermore, he directed the Congressman’s efforts on the U.S. House Steering Committee, as well as his efforts as a member of the National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee’s Executive Committee. Brad joined the Dutko family in 2001.
Brad serves on the Advisory Board for the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, the Board of the Capital Hill Club and numerous Steering Committees for Member of Congress. He served with the New Hampshire State Police as a uniform trooper, state prosecutor and as an undercover narcotics detective where he received numerous distinguished awards for his service.
