Bonn Macy is an entrepreneur developing, Phyteau, Inc., a startup in the Drug discovery and health and wellness sectors. Phyteau is commercializing a new class of therapeutics for diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, NASH and NAFLD using natural compounds. They are developing first-of-its-kind pharmaceutical nutraceutical and functional food
products based on our new approach.
Bonn Macy is Director and Co-founder of Startup Santa Fe, focused on and building the entrepreneurial ecosystem. and facilitating startups in Santa Fe, new Mexico. He is also Co-Chair and Co-Founder of Startup New Mexico, a statewide effort led by entrepreneurs to support the growth of startups. Bonn is also on the advisory board of the Coalition for a Connected West, an on the advisory board of ExchangeWorks, an on-line marketplace facilitating the exchange of art and resources.
Bonn formerly was a consultant with McKinsey and Co. and Booz Allen Hamilton; a Presidential appointee during the Clinton Administration, working throughout the West with State governments on Federal land, royalties and leasing, and Energy policy issues; and a former Economist, Corporate Planner, and Finance Specialist with British Petroleum in London.
Bonn holds an M.Sc. in Economics, with focus on Finance and Economic development from the London School of Economics, an M.S. in Natural Resource Economics from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Materials Science also from Columbia University.
