Bogdan Cirlig is the CTO at AdPerk.
He is a seasoned technologist who understands the challenges in all company sizes from 2 people bootstrapped Start-up to Fortune 100. He can take an idea to prototype either solo or by building a team around him. He is keenly aware that “art is long and life is short” and products need to ship “yesterday”.
For the past 15 years he has been hands on coding and also leading engineering teams from 2 to 25 people to consistently shipping iteration after iteration, providing vision, technical architecture, guidance and solid Agile/SCRUM process. He has founded companies, built teams, shipped products and ensured harmony and removed frictions to make it a fun ride and enjoy every day.
At AdPerk he is in charge of the technology stack and the team behind it. He has an extensive background in on-line ad business which goes back to 1998 when he launched the first online ad network in his native country, Romania. After his relocation to the US, he has played an instrumental role in leading the team at Advertising.com who built the next generation ad engine capable of delivering 2bln ads per day.
He has a passion for sports, especially Snowboarding, Biking, Surfing and he lives a very active life, outdoors. He is also an angel investor in the Silicon Valley, he advises early startups and he practices Lean Startup approach to rapid prototyping and getting products to market.
He holds an international MBA with focus on MIS and Economics.
