Bob Schmidt has over 35 years experience developing strategy for and financing high technology companies. Prior to joining Fletcher Spaght, Bob was a Principal in PS Financial Corporation, formed to turn around and recapitalize a manufacturer of membrane keyboards. From 1981-1986, Bob was a founder, Vice President and CFO of Massachusetts Computer
Corporation (MASSCOMP), a developer and manufacturer of Unix-based systems and workstations targeted at real-time applications. Prior to founding MASSCOMP, Bob was Vice President and CFO of Frequency Sources, a manufacturer of microwave components and subsystems, where he led an IPO and executed a merger with Loral Corporation. Before Frequency Sources, Bob was CEO of Interactive Resources, a management computing firm, and was a Vice President of The Bank of Boston, where he worked with high technology companies for 13 years.
Bob received a BA from Yale University, and served in Vietnam with his Army Reserve unit. He is on the Board of Directors of TSD, and serves as a Board observer for Soleo Communications. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Quick Study Radiology, Cullinet Corporation, Orion Research, and RAND Information Systems, and serves on several private company Boards.
