Bob Schaefer started his career at SMITH HAYES in 2008. Bob also serves as the Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for SMITH HAYES Companies. He is originally from Plainview, Nebraska, and graduated in 1995 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in Accounting. He furthered
his education by earning a Master of Professional Accountancy in 1997 from the University of Nebraska. Bob spent four years working in public accounting primarily doing audits of banks and non-profit organizations. After five years, TMI/TAG was acquired by Perot Systems, where he served as the division controller for three years.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys traveling, skiing, hanging out with friends and family, and watching college sports. Bob has a brother and a sister who live in Omaha, Nebraska, and another sister who lives in Springfield, Missouri.
