Bob is a general partner in Crosspoint's Southern California office. Crosspoint is an early stage venture fund with over $1 billion of committed capital. Crosspoint focuses on vertical service providers, network-based service businesses and broadband infrastructure. In 1983, Bob Hoff established the Southern California office for Crosspoint,
extending coverage to the Southwest, and since that time has been involved as first round investor and Board member in a number of successful companies, including Com21, Efficient Networks, iPivot, PairGain Technologies, STAC, and USWeb/CKS.
Bob served as a Director of the National Venture Capital Association from 1996 to 1999. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, and holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
