My name is Bob Fishtrom. I am in my 22nd year in the Sequoia Union High School District, located in Redwood City, CA. I have served as a classroom teacher, teacher on special assignment, vice principal, and am currently Director of Instructional Technology. Besides having three beautiful daughters, there is nothing I am more proud of than being a
public educator! I strongly believe in providing simple-to-use, cost-effective solutions for our staff and students. Technology is a very powerful tool that can certainly extend the classroom while providing autonomy and choice for both teachers and students; it is also a powerful tool that can streamline many processes we engage in every day. This desire to find a powerful tool to provide more efficiency is what lead our district to its partnership with DocuSign. I have been a member of CUE (Computer Using Educators) for more than 10 years; I am also a member of ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) and CLS (California League of Schools) where I served as CLHS Region 4 Trustee for three years. These affiliations have provided tremendous opportunities for growing professionally and personally through networking and presenting. I have earned all Leading Edge Certifications (www.leadingedgecertifcation.org) , and am a CUE RockStar Administrator.
