Bo Yang is the founder and CEO of Douban, an online sharing platform that enables individuals to discover and share reviews for movies, books and music. Yang graduated from Tsinghua University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He received his Ph.D. in Physics at UC-San Diego. In 1998, Yang joined IBM as a consultant, working on the
calculation model of next generation magnetic recording devices. From 2000 to 2004, Yang participated in founding Egoistic, a supply chain management solution start-up, serving as Chief Technology Officer. Yang founded Douban.com in 2005.
