Blair Sergeant is the Managing Director of Evolution Capital Partners, which he founded in 2006. Evolution Capital Partners has built a strong reputation in working with numerous companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). Providing company secretarial services and corporate advisory, ECP also advises companies on ASX initial
public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, secondary capital raisings and Exchange and Corporate Law compliance.
Blair Sergeant got his start in corporate advisory, as a partner with Anthony Ho and Associates. Located in Perth, Australia, Blair’s firm specialized in working with companies seeking to raise capital and become listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. During his tenure with Anthony Ho and Associates, Sergeant and his team also provided director and company secretarial services in Australia for companies listed on the stock exchanges of Amsterdam, Singapore, Toronto and London.
Following his time as a partner at Anthony Ho and Associates, Blair Sergeant was appointed Managing Director of ASX listed Optima Corporation Ltd, in February 2004, where Mr Sergeant was responsible for the USA launch and establishment of well known Western Australian surf apparel and accessory brands, West Surfing and Creatures of Leisure. Then in 2006, Blair negotiated and lead Optima’s acquisition of what was Australia’s fastest growing scooter and motorcycle brand, Vmoto. Mr Sergeant was instrumental in launching the Vmoto brand on a global scale and initiating the construction of state of the art production facilities in Nanjing, China.
