Birte Quitt (Head of Group Retail Strategy) is responsible for the development of the retail strategy across the entire Erste Group, which has a leading presence in seven countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including Austria.
The development and redesign of Erste Group’s retail banking business model focuses on the development of a new
value proposition and optichannel strategy, new business formats and the development and implementation of new branch and advisory concepts, as well as the management of group-wide projects on such strategic priorities as payment strategy, the redesign of the leasing business, and alignment on product portfolios and processes.
Birte Quitt has over 25 years of experience in developing and implementing Retail Banking strategies and managing Retail Banking business lines, including at Erste Bank (Austria), Commerzbank, and Dresdner Bank.
