Dr. Yao has spent over 35 years in database management and business intelligence, resulting in innovative reporting, DB, and BI products, as well as many technical publications. After starting XDB Systems, a DB workbench company, Dr. Yao founded Jinfonet Software on the belief that all enterprise users should have easy, timely access to data
visualization and analytics through reporting, dashboards, and mobile devices. Dr. Yao has been a Professor of Computer Sciences at Purdue University and the University of Maryland. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
