Bill Scheffler serves as Director of North America Sales, for Z-Wave™ at Sigma Designs and has over 25 years of experience in the home automation business. He has presented at multiple smart energy conferences on behalf of the Z-Wave Alliance to both US and European audiences. He joined Zensys in May 2001 after a 16-year career with X-10. Sigma
Designs acquired Zensys in December 2008. While at X-10, Scheffler held several leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of OEM Sales and Marketing. Additionally, Scheffler was one of the original founders and a former president of the Home Automation Association. Scheffler holds an Undergraduate and Graduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
