Bill Kling is a 1972 Farmer School of Business alumnus with a degree in Marketing. An entrepreneur, Bill started Swiss-American in Dallas in 1988. Swiss-American produces drugs, medical devices and medical grade skin care products focused on the dermatology, plastic surgery, and hospital markets. While Bill was involved in all aspects of the
business as it grew, his primary involvement over time became new product development. To leverage the Company’s new product capabilities, Swiss-American also developed a significant contract manufacturing business serving leading medical companies around the world. Selling Swiss-American in 2012, Bill purchased a ranch outside of Dallas where he has started a new venture in the area of water purification.
