Bill is an entrepreneur with more than 22 years of experience in analyzing and controlling healthcare expenses.
He founded HealthQx in 2012, and is responsible for developing and commercializing the company’s technology, strategic planning and business management.
Prior to HealthQx, Bill founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare
Data Management, Inc. (HDM), a pioneer in modeling employee health benefit plans and using data-driven metrics to monitor health plan spend.
Bill conceived and designed the company’s auditing solution, BenefitsAudit, and its solution for the continuous monitoring of healthcare expenses practically as they are paid, BenefitsWatch.
Bill developed HDM into a successful business, serving private-sector clients such as Ford Motor Company, Continental Airlines, QVC, public sector clients and unions. HDM also provided independent accountability of Medicare-sponsored health benefits programs. Bill built HDM into a national business and exited when Thomson Reuters acquired HDM in 2010.
Bill was also founder of a medical billing business that serviced medical practices with electronic claims processing and patient billing.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing from the University of Richmond and a Master of Business Administration Degree in finance from American University.
