Bill has 35 years experience in metal fabrication, construction and installation. Bill first started his career as a production manager and installation tech for a solar panel manufacturer during the 80’s solar energy boom and developed manufacturing techniques to streamline the production & installation processes. Bill then spent time

working as a metal roofing mechanic for a large commercial roofing contractor learning the trade on the installation side from a well recognized and industry leading company. From there, Bill worked for Metal Masters, a startup metal roofing manufacturer, working in all facets of the company including operations, manufacturing, inside & outside sales. Petersen Aluminum purchased Metal Masters in 1984 where Bill continued his career working in manufacturing, sales, and purchasing until leaving for another startup company, Metal Fab Manufacturing. Bill joined with Mark Gaulin in 1994 as a managing partner in MetFab, growing the business from its roots to becoming a leading supplier of metal roofing and architectural sheet metal. MetFab was well recognized for tackling projects other companies didn’t want. Bill's can-do attitude enabled MetFab to ship product throughout the Continental US, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, United Arab Emirates, and other overseas areas. Drexel Metals acquired MetFab in the fall of 2011 where Bill has remained working with others on the Drexel Metals team to integrate panel & trim production with Drexel’s well-established sheet & coil business. Bill lives in Woodbine, MD with his wife of 20 years and has three daughters. Bill is an avid flyer and is a member of the Northeast Bonanza Flight Demonstration Team.
