Bhavna Katkar joined BC Partners in New York in 2019 as Chief Human Capital Officer and Head of Strategic Initiatives. Previously, Bhavna was with Navab Capital Partners as Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Human Capital, bringing twenty years of financial services experience and leadership to the firm across business operations and human
capital. Most recently, Katkar was with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) for ten years where she led Private Markets Human Capital for the Americas, partnering with Private Equity, Growth Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy and KKR Capstone. While at KKR, she also covered the Client & Partner Group, Capital Markets, Credit, Balance Sheet, Corporate Development, Macro and Asset Allocation, Investor Relations, Business Operations, Risk Strategies and Innovation and Technology businesses. Prior to KKR, Katkar served in several roles at Bear Stearns from 2003 to 2008, including Head of Human Capital for Fixed Income. Formerly, Katkar was with Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, where she started her career. She holds a B.A. from Western University and an M.Sc., with Honors, from the London School of Economics.
