Beverly Carmichael served as Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Learning and Organizational Development at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She spent ten years at Southwest Airlines Co. in Dallas, where she held numerous roles including Vice President, People (Human Resources), Vice President of Labor and Employee Relations, and Chief Counsel, Labor and Employment. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Beverly Carmichael was an Associate at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP in Los Angeles and in Washington, DC and held several key management roles at Sun Oil Company (Sunoco). Since 2006, Beverly Carmichael serves as a Director-at-Large on the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Board of Directors. She serves on the MBA Advisory Board at the University of Oklahoma and Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Advisory Board at Southern Methodist University. She served on the Texas A&M Center for Human Resources Advisory Board.
