Beth Stannard joined the Cervel team in March 2012 with more than 13 years of clinical operations experience in clinical psychiatry.
Her areas of expertise include clinical research coordination, data management, medical writing, study recruitment, vendor management and overall clinical operations.
Prior to joining Cervel, Beth was an
independent consultant in clinical operations and medical writing for clinical stage companies.
Previously she served as Manager of Clinical Operations for Alexza Pharmaceuticals where she played key roles in the areas of quality control and regulatory affairs, assisting with domestic and European regulatory submissions.
During six years at Corcept Therapeutics, Beth functioned as a Clinical Trials Associate and Rater Trainer, with responsibilities including clinical operations, data management and psychometrics.
Beth began her career at Stanford University where she served as Clinical Research Coordinator in the Depression Research and Schizophrenia Research Clinics.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arizona and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
She is working toward a Master of Clinical Research, Organization and Management at Drexel University.
