Bernard joins Addion with more than 20 years of experience in development and management of advanced research and development teams. Most recently, he was at Microsoft, where he was a General Manager at Live Labs, leading concept development, product management, user experience and system operations, and was Senior Director of Business Management
for the Business Platform Division (the multi-billion dollar revenue division responsible for the SQL Server, SQL Azure and AppFabric products, among others).
Prior to Microsoft, Bernard was the Director of Research Engineering at Yahoo! and at Overture Services, and Senior Vice President of Program Control at Greenwich NatWest in London, and a senior manager at Accenture.
With a passion for building lean start-up teams and large-scale product development alike, Bernard has worked with organizations of all sizes to build successful innovation and incubation strategies and programs that drive breakthrough product and technology development, and deliver lasting customer and employee engagement.
Bernard holds a Ph.D. (D.I.C.) in Chemistry from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London, and a B.Sc. (A.R.C.S.) in Biochemistry from the same, Bernard transitioned from molecules to modules and valences to variables.
Bernard has a wonderful and patient wife and two boys who have yet to exhaust his knowledge of combining household items into dangerous explosives.
