Startup founder and Investment Banker, Ben worked in the M&A team of J.P. Morgan from its African office. He represented South Africa in the CFA Challenge in 2014 after completing his studies. He regularly engaged on PropTech and eCommerce speaking circuits across SA for a number of years whilst CEO of HouseME and Chief Commercial Officer at
reOS. As CCO his focus areas were growth, sales and commercialization of larger partnerships.
Prior to establishing HouseME, he had started a number of other ventures. Work experience includes the setup of an incubator for startups, recruitment, fundraising, management training, valuation, and trend analysis.
Ben has been published for his trends work and has written in some of South Africa's largest publications. At EXEO Capital Benjamin works with new fund managers, focusing primarily on investment into technology, late-stage venture and emerging African financial- and consumer-core businesses.
Ben studied Finance and Accounting and is an Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellow.
