Benjamin M. Soto has spent more than 30 years working as a real estate attorney and entrepreneur. He is the owner of two real estate-focused companies and is licensed with the DC Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar.
He owns Premium Title & Escrow, LLC, which was founded in 2000. The firm operates in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and
Tennessee, and has been recognized as one of the highest-volume title companies in the DMV area. His team brings more than 100 years of combined experience, handling title searches, settlements, and closings for both commercial and residential properties. The company issues Owner’s and Lender’s Title Policies, manages escrow funds, coordinates documents, and records them in Land Records to ensure clear and marketable titles.
He also owns Paramount Development, LLC, a commercial development company focused on building and acquiring properties in Washington, D.C. The firm was involved in the Wharf project and the development of several apartment buildings, including 555 E Street, SW, which features a European-style hotel, residential units, and retail space. Other projects include 1031 4th Street, NW, 350 Maple Drive, and the Hyatt Place Hotel at 400 East Street, SW. The Hyatt Place, completed in 2015, also features a state-of-the-art fire station that houses units responsible for protecting the U.S. President.
He serves on the boards of EagleBank, the DC Chamber of Commerce, the DC Public Education Fund, and the American University Real Estate Council. Earlier in his career, he handled bankruptcy cases before concentrating solely on real estate transactions. His career has also included service on various boards and acting as treasurer on multiple local political campaigns.
He is deeply involved in community service, supporting affordable housing and education initiatives through nonprofit leadership. A native of Washington, D.C. and a graduate of American University, he has been married for 27 years and has two children, Danielle and Alex. He enjoys traveling and reading.
