Benjamin Roper is the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) specialist who drives strategic initiatives involving new REIT business. With a proven track record in real estate, marketing, and political communications, Roper brings a results-oriented approach to business development and relationship-building.
Roper previously served as a business
development lead at Bonaventure, where he cultivated key relationships with property owners, developers, and family offices. He played a pivotal role in promoting Bonaventure’s investment offerings—including UPREITs, Preferred Equity, and Mezzanine debt—to provide creative solutions for complex real estate needs.
Earlier in his career, Roper was the Innovation Manager at RangeWater Real Estate, where he spearheaded the adoption of new technologies and operational strategies to keep the company at the forefront of the industry. His background also includes political experience, having worked on Senator Marsha Blackburn’s campaign and supported media relations at The Heritage Foundation, where he contributed to press outreach and content development.
Roper holds a bachelor’s degree in politics with focused studies in national institutions and policy, conflict and peace, and political action.
