Ben Lischner is the youngest in a family of four brothers. It took some 12 months of convincing from David Lischner before Ben accepted the role of Chief Technology Officer at Valant. With some 15 years of software architecture and development experience behind him, it was clear to David why Ben would be an asset to the team. We like to think Ben
just wanted to make his big brother sweat.
Prior to joining us, Ben developed custom solutions for Talisma’s world class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suites. Before taking that role, Ben joined AT&T after its acquisition of McCaw Cellular, where he started as the sole corporate IT Software Developer and grew within that organization to Sr. Software Developer. He spent eight years at AT&T Wireless, where he was a Senior Technical Architect for Customer Systems. Ben graduated from Reed College with a degree in physics.Prior to starting his career, Ben spent one year volunteering in Indonesia with Peace Brigades International.
Today, he is attempting peace talks with some out of control blackberry bushes on his five acres of land in Oregon. So far he has produced some very tasty wine.
