With over two decades of experience in the software industry, Ben Farmer has learned experience as a systems architect, software engineer, and agile process thought leader. Since 2004, he has developed software solutions for such notable companies as Scripps Networks Interactive (now Discovery), Pilot Travel Centers (now Pilot-FlyingJ), and
EdFinancial.
In 2014, Ben founded ResultStack, which aims to provide scalable, cloud-architected solutions for clients in a wide variety of industries. In addition to leading innovating software development efforts, Ben is a highly sought after consultant specializing in agile development methods, process systematization, team communication, and efficiency improvements. Under his leadership, ResultStack has grown from a startup to a multi-million dollar enterprise. Today, ResultStack serves clients across the United States and supports platform systems used by millions of consumers.
Ben is a board member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Knoxville, an organization that assists entrepreneurs through peer-to-peer learning and cooperation. He regularly gives back to the local software development community as a conference organizer/sponsor and host of regular developer meetups.
He and his wife Jenny reside in Knoxville with their four children.
