Bas is an experienced entrepreneur who founded and managed several successful companies in the travel industry. Among others, he built tour operator JIBA (formerly TravelTrex) from scratch, which
was sold to Sunweb in 2006. In 2004, Bas acquired Vakantiereiswijzer.nl early-stage and transformed it into Zoover; market leader in customer reviews for travel accommodations and destinations. A majority share was sold to Tomorrow Focus in 2012, and Bas is now part-time Chief Commercial Officer of Zoover.
