Barry Penney is the Managing Director at SK Capital Partners.
Prior to joining SK Capital in 2015, Mr. Penney spent over thirty years in domestic and international chemical businesses focusing on supply chain, procurement, plant operations, logistics and operations excellence. Before joining SK, Mr. Penney was President of NGL’s, Olefins and
Feedstocks at Ascend Performance Materials.
Mr. Penney began his career at Exxon and held a variety of management positions at Bayer, Goodyear and Cytec. His responsibilities ranged from special project execution to management accountability for global supply chain and global engineering organizations.
Barry is a member of the Board of Directors for Noramco, Tasmanian Alkaloids, Niacet Corporation, TriTex, Foremark Performance Chemicals, Wavelength Pharmaceuticals and Perimeter Solutions.
Mr. Penney graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
