Barry Freeman is the Founder and CEO at Bbae Holdings. He has eight years of experience in China's internet and finance industries, and nine years of experience working in financial institutions in the US. Prior to co-founding PINTEC in 2012, Barry was CFO and Executive Director of Credit Heng, the largest privately funded lending platform for
small and medium-sized enterprises in China’s Yunnan Province. Previously, he was a founder of Huasong Capital Ltd., a Kunming-based investment management firm in China. Before moving to China in 2009, he was Vice President at Knight Capital Americas, L.P, an equity trading and investment-banking firm in New York.
Barry received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Georgia. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
