A native of State College, Pennsylvania, Barry Frey grew up in Southwest Florida. He joined Frey & Son Homes in 1977, spending his school summer vacations working in various trade and administrative positions. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1985, he became a Florida Licensed General
Contractor and Real Estate Broker and began working for the company full-time, becoming president in 1994. He is highly active in industry and community organizations.
