Barrett Cohen is co-founder and CEO of Scenic Advisement, a full stack investment bank focused exclusively on the capital needs of the late-state private company ecosystem. Formerly with Lehman Brothers in San Francisco, Cohn leveraged his business connections to establish himself as the “deal whisperer of Silicon Valley,” helping investors connect
with non-public startups. Which led him and a colleague to found Scenic Advisement, which helps the top private tech companies in the Bay Area to remain private and therefore retail control. Since its official inception in 2014, Scenic has managed nearly $1BN in private stock sales to mutual funds, sovereign wealth and family funds.
